ABOUT FORGOTTEN PLACES
This collection of images is a result of my thinking about, and looking at, the kind of forgotten places we see for only a few seconds as we speed by them on our way to the rest of our busy lives. These forlorn and often grindingly ugly urban landscapes make me think of lost moments of childhood, failed hopes, and the brutal and relentlessly transitory nature of the American landscape in general. Maybe these places are warning signs of a world yet to come. In these photographs, time moves slowly, things are in a state of partially arrested decay, frozen in time.
